I wish I could play the piano and the guitar. Yes I do wish I was Bob Dylan.

Just something to think about.

------------

You may be right Bruce, but the coach didn't even know me! It was only a
week or two into the semester. Not only that, I think he didn't want the
hassle of talking to the coach running the weight room to try to squeeze me
in.

The only reason I even tried to play the sports was because two of my best
friends did. But then they were zero support to me when the sports came
up!

Man but those red rubber balls sting when they hit the small of your back.

Are you talking about the foursquare balls?  Dang you guys were hardcore.

To me the most cruel gym class was swimming. I always felt it should have been a class of choice and not required. My heart broke for some of the girls in my high school. I loved it, but we had to wear school issued suits and they were horrible and one of my best friends was a large girl and she would cry because she had to take it.

These: I still remember the smell...and that distinctive hollow "thping" when they hit.

Okay, sorry to break in on the levity but as Tom will be soon celebrating his anniversary, I just found this story today and I was quite taken by it.  Get out your tissues but it shows how same-sex marriage is necessary.  I decided to post it here and not in the "Tax Protest" thread because while this is sad, it's also hopeful about what a good thing same-sex marriage is.  Get a tissue if you're a softie.

I used to be infatuated with that texture for some reason... I'd pick at the
ball obsessively.

Thanks, Kevin.  I appreciate it.

To make a link from Firefox, you enter the text you want to serve as the link
in the reply box, highlight it, click on the insert link button, and enter the
