I have an old college friend from Boston who overlaps with Tom on FB.

The man is POPULAR.

Given the high school music teacher connections, I thought this would be appropriate place to discuss my strange anticipation for the new Fox show about a high school glee club:

Maybe it's the chorus version of Amy Winehouse's Rehab that won me over.

The man is POPULAR.

I know EVERYBODY, it seems!  Weirder still are the people who know me from online that I don't.  I was in San Francisco about ten years ago, and a guy came up to me at the gym and asked if I was me (<profile name> from Manhunt) which sort of weirded me out.

Imagine if I were someone who deserved any kind of fame!

My partner is the popular one. There are times when people come and introduce themselves and i don't know them, but they know about me because my partner tells them....Nice!

What I don't understand is once in a very rare blue moon, I will actually try
the Facebook recommends friends feature on someone who overlaps my
friends by more than just a couple of friends, but totally get ignored, yet
everyone ads Tom!

It has to be the big musc-cels!

Has manhunt been around ten years???

It IS, believe me!  Eric and I did an experiment a couple of weeks ago.  We both changed avatars on FB to pics that weren't of our bodies -- Eric used his real estate head shot and I used one of me lecturing sixth graders.  Both our "friend requests" diminished to near nothing.

Changing avatars back to my "trap" shot -- Eric back to his "pumped arms" -- and lo and behold, suddenly I'm everyone's best friend again.

Well, I'm not really popular so sometimes I feel a little bit out of place...

Well, it's a proven fact that all lesbians have slept with each other.  They don't even need Kevin Bacon to connect them.
