Which group of kids do you enjoy teaching more? The young "Mistuh Fwench" students or the older "Yo, Tom" hooligans?

I am today. And thanks everyone. Just one of those times where you're
whole life seems about ready to disappear right out from under you.
Thanks again.

NO MORE MONKEYS JUMPIN' ON THE BED!

This is the lovely young Logan. She's delightfully creative and funny -- and sure can put on her "mean face" for the camera, eh?

Firstly, it's more like the "Yo, Frenchie" hooligans, but no worries. I like them both for very different reasons. Bear in mind, too, that I've been teaching at this school for ten years, so some of my first Primary students are now Sophomores in Upper School. THAT'S kind of freaky. Most of my AESOP cast I'd been teaching since Fifth Grade.

That's pretty incredible, and touching too to see kids go from little to
young adults Tom. I'm sure it will be emotional to see them off in the
world (when it comes, your close students anyway!)
I recently touched base with my old 5th grade teacher Mrs. Wooton on
Facebook. She was my all time favorite teacher. Tough as nails, but had
so much love in her heart for her students. Really pushed a student to do
their best. Sarcastic as all hell, which I loved, and had THE biggest crush
on Tom Selleck. She had pictures of him in all his hairy glory all over one
of her file cabinets. Too funny. Her husband was the sheriff of the next
parish (county) over. She always made plans for skating rink parties and
even had parties for her students at her house. She went far and above
beyond any teacher should have to. She also recognized that I was
misplaced into a "Category B" student category, and should have been a
"Category A" since I was a pretty bright kid. I belonged with the smart
kids!
