I think you can figure the rest out.
She had to settle for her safety school?
Seriously, if she's in Pre-K, she's ripe for Finger Play (songs/ chants that involve fingers). "Where is Thumbkin" "Five Little Monkeys Jumpin' On the Bed" etc, which will help her develop her fine-motor skills and will help her stop leading with her middle finger. "Thumbkin" is good because it NAMES each of the fingers "Where is pointer? Where is Middle? Where is pinkie?" like that. Sing it with her endlessly for the next couple of months and that will help.

Just catching up, Al. Hope things have improved since your initial post.
Goes without saying that my best wishes and good mojo are heading your way.

Don't know if it will mean anything, but I hope everything works out for you, Al. It seems obvious to me that you have plenty of friends here; they'll see you through.

Like Brian, I'm checking in late, but I'll offer good thoughts and fingers and toes crossed for ya, Al! Always and any day of the week! And here's hoping today will prove a better day.

Tom, I thought you just taught high school students? Those are some
younguns...and too cute for words!
It's such a cute pic, and I know I can't see the front of your face, but, I get
such a vibe you are smiling and having a good time with those kids. Am I
reading to much into that?

Believe it or not, I teach Pre-K through 12. I'm about 60% primary school, then 40% performing arts assistant (read: "piano slave") where I work with the other grades. It tests my vocabulary on a daily basis!
