Well, I imagine a certain amount of muscle building will happen just from the increased activity...(walking mostly, but plan to add biking, and a non-focused exercise routine, like sit-ups etc.).
But I am holding off on actually purposeful muscle mass gain until my energy levels have risen and such.
I am aware that the two go hand in hand, as I lose weight, my energy will increase and as I gain muscle I will burn the fat faster....It is reciprocal. I was mostly referring to any focused effort to sculpt body parts, such as abs. Plus I know that my discipline level is not there yet, and if i ease into it I wont frustrate myself as I have in the past....Baby steps.

Gotcha! Was just curious... I think guys generally have an easier time losing
weight than girls (allegedly).

To all the guys losing weight, great job!!! Don't worry about getting big muscles, most women are not crazy about them, do sit ups though, women love great washboard tummys.

Moyer a nice butt is a good thing. Sex and the City did a great show about an old guy Samantha was dating and they showed the guy from the back and he looked like a deflated white balloon. I have to say I go "Ewwww" everytime I watch that ep.
But women (over 35) will overlook non perfect body parts if the guy brings kindness and humor to the table. Biggest turnoff for women: poor personal hygiene.

Aw! (buhlush) thanks Michael for the kudos, and thanks Jodi as well.
That SATC episode was classic! The sugar daddy showered her with gifts. I
read somewhere (Entertainment Mag) that the actor who played the sugar
daddy was in really good shape, and his butt was in too good a shape to
show off. So they hired a stunt butt... funny.

SATC is one show that no matter how many times I have seen the ep, I can watch it again and again.

Once I get my love handles trimmed down I should have my great butt back.
It used to be quite the object of attention and discussion among the women
I knew.
And your comment about women over 35 is exactly why I have no interest in
younger women, Jodi!
