I work for myself now and the self-loathing is palpable around here.
I thought only the queers got to be self-loathing. Isn't that why we go to they gym?

Its like fashion or manscaping -- it starts out in the gay community but eventually it makes its way to the straights.

One place a guy wanted to throw down in the parking lot after work, but backed off when I called his bluff.
I was there for that one. It was pretty funny. Lesson learned? Don't call that guy a shithead, even as a joke. I don't remember the context, but I do remember it was a joke. And son, let me tell you, he blew up. We thought it was over upstairs, but then he appeared behind Dwayne's car(we were carpooling at the time; actually he was just driving me around, but I'm not saying Dwayne gave me a ride, not on the gay thread, no sir!). He threw a few choice words Dwayne's way, and then he actually said,"Do you want to throw down?" To which Dwayne actually responded,"Okay, lets go!"
Hemming and hawing commenced and then it was just over. He quit pretty soon afterward, but we never heard another thing about it.
I don't know if Dwayne would have actually fought over "shithead" but I know the other guy wasn't expecting to have his bluff called.
P.S. I don't have any of my own stories; I have to borrow.
