That's another benefit of the shaved scrotum, Geoff. Nothing for the crabs to grab.

I too have manscaped down below. The illusion of extra length is an added bonus.

Speaking of shaved heads... I'm not planning on shaving my beautiful blonde locks anytime soon however both my brothers are bald and my hair is starting to thin so in a few years I'll probably bite the bullet. Unfortunately I have an enormous scar running down the center of my skull from pretending I was Superman when I was two years old and diving off my bunk bed into my brother's diaper drawer. Right now it just looks like a deliberate parting line but I have a feeling it's going to look like an ax wound when the hair is gone.
Which is why I'm holding onto the scraps after I get my hair cut and have been stocking up on the handyman's secret weapon; duct tape.

Thanks Vilas, thanks Joakim. Some people had told me that my head has a good shape. Maybe i'm waiting to get a little bit more bald in order to justify shaving my head.

I've shaved mine many times, even before I went bald. I think it's sexy.

The hair growing back is the problem for me. That drives me... er... nuts.

Not to be belittled indeed.

Well, it will grow back, Juan. It’s not as if you’re giving up long hair or anything, so just go for it. If you don’t like the result, you’ll just know to avoid doing it again.

Me too. And from early on I’ve preferred fully shaven/short short SHORT trimmed (or growing back if you will) or long hair. There used to be a time when alternating was an option... now I’m just happy that the option I’m stuck with is one of my two originally preferred choices. ;) (and play around with the beard instead)

OK. So is 'manscaping' different than shaving completely? A couple of you
have mentioned trimming down there. How short? I have a jungle. I'm no
Robin Williams, but I'm hair from the top of my head to the knuckles of my
toes and I have no interest in getting it all removed, but if it was a little
more, um, let's say 'stylish', that would be fine. What about the arm pits? If
you have chest hair should you still shave the pits, or just trim them?
Enquiring minds want to know.

Okay, I'll take this on! I am also a Cro-Magnon in terms of bodyhair (and intelligence, but we'll leave that alone). Man-scaping takes both trimming and shaving under its umbrella.
Example, I shave my shoulders, traps and upper arms (sometimes lower arms, too -- depends on my mood). I also shave... "down there"... but only trim the... bush. I buzz trim my back close and keep my chest/ab/ pit hair at about a 3-clip.
I look at it as nothing more than grooming -- the same way I'd take care of my head and facial hair. When done well, it makes a man look... neater, I guess. And it's easier to keep up than to initially do.
