I hear you loud and clear Moyer. For being a society strongly concerned with the danger and problem of pedophiles threatening our young ones, we are scaringly willing to MAKE sexual objects of the same kids we worry about becoming victims of sexual abuse. Needless to say, it’s a disease and pedophiles have been around for a long, but I can’t help thinking that the current sexualisation of children in fashion doesn’t exactly help.
For some reason, it reminds me of something a stand up comedian (possibly Swedish) said at some point. ”Coming to the beach, I don’t know which is worse. Seeing a four year old with a bikini top, or an 84 year old without one.”
And I remain fascinated by the muscular difference between past Tom and present Tom.

You can tell that Tom had good skeletal foundation and proportions at that age -- pretty much the kind of physique you'd want if you were into lifting. I'd guess, at a glance that he probably finds it easier to bulk and maintain the thighs than the biceps.

Me, Tiago and our mom in 77. Still haven't found the really embarassing ones (the Damien Sagan one doesn't count).

What a beautiful picture, I love how your mom has her hands lovingly and protectively on both of her babies. It's charming.

for lack of a better thread congrats to *everyone* on the new president of the United States of America :)
Here are a few thing's I'm hoping to see with the new administration:
Less bullying/patronizing of other nations; Easier visa access to HIV carrying folks such as myself so we can, you know... visit!; Kioto back with a vengeance; a new boost on space exploration; an end to the paranoia generated by the "war on terror" - making people live in fear is also a form of terror, i believe.
What are your expectations?

Good call, Pedro! Congrats to you Americans (and the rest of us as well really)! Yay!
Oh and very sorry to hear that you're an HIV carrier, Pedro. I didn't know that. At any rate, it's high time a cure was found for that.

to the rest of us as well indeed!
Joakim 7 years now. Two pills a day keep the bugs away! For me it's no big deal but i've got it easy: Great family and friends and healthcare pays for the meds. I'm not counting on a cure anytime soon, this is going to turn into one of those chronic diseases (like diabetes, which i also have - yeah i collect them chronic diseases LOL). An assle but manageable. Problem is a lot of people don't have it as easy as I do.
Anyway i just wanna be able to visit NY lol (selfish i know)

Pedro I am going to start a thread about what a glorious day today is, not only for our country, but the world.
I am so very sorry about your health status. I hope that we as a country will now spend more money finding cures, instead of tilting at windmills.

I believe there are two main groups of people who expect something from Obama:
1 - Those who recognize the momentous advent of his administration and look forward to a strong socio-political leadership steeped in the values that once made the USA potentially the greatest place to live in.
2 - Those who want Obama to fix the economy.
If the stock markets don't show a marked improvement in activity by Wednesday morning, Group 2 will look upon the "Obama Effect" as less than momentous.

Thanks for the congratulations...I am celebrating so hard on the inside.
wanted to share a tune that I think should maybe be the theme song for the inauguration. You will find it on the linked site...it's called Obama Song.
There is also a video if you scroll down a little....and best of all it is available as a free download. share it with everyone....
