You're kind of Earth-2-ish at this point, Tom, what with the graying temples.
Too true -- on the other hand, he was my favorite Superman (especially if, like Moyer, the Daddy-Superman had special meaning...)
Earth-2 Superman was always a little too barrel-chested for me sometimes.

Well, I guess we can place that ”plural” lovingly alongside the Swedish tendency to jokingly take word for a ”musical note”, in Swedish ”not” (which in actual plural would be ”noter”), and turn it into ”nötter”, literally ”nuts” (along the line of the word ”foot”, Sw. ”fot”, plural ”fötter”). Just beware, not to use it (as some people do we the Swedish ”nötter”) in places where people might think you just don’t know.* ;)
* Once had to tell a friend upon reading an university essay of hers that the heading ”fotnötter” (i.e. foot notes) was bad in two ways, 1) because she did the ”not” into ”nötter” instead of ”noter”, and 2) because they were obviously end notes and not foot notes. She didn’t have time to change it before she was defending it at a seminar, but at least she could pre-empt the thing by a starting mea culpa at the event.

Not that strange... just a word like any other. I was only a bit bummed that the dictionary I went for didn't give the bit about whether it's a Greek root word or a latin one. Which I guess says something about me...

Nah, it should be ”it”, Don. It’s all in the sound... and strangely I want to fill in ”of one penis clapping” after that.
