Tom, I can't help but think you'd have a major problem with the famous Poseidon statue here in Göteborg. At least at first sight, because the poor ocean god is more than a little unpronounced... given the size of his body, I wouldn't want that little to show ever.
As the story goes though, the artist wanted to make it natural sized, so to speak, in proportion with the body, but wasn't allowed, because it would be too much male member on display. Ironically, the itty bitty tiny john thomas now in place is so out of proportion that it really draws your eye and awareness to it. Luckily though the artist did get back at this silliness, because he placed a huge fish in one of Poseidon's hands... and if you stand slightly to the side and begind the statue... well, let's just say that it doesn't come off as a fish any longer. ;)

I never had a gay crush on Superman... I'll be the first to say I love erotic
drawings (Tom Of Finland..hullo!) but super-heroes always remained just
that in my head... super-heroes.
I will say that pretty much every time I played Star Wars with a buddy of
mine, that Luke and Leia always ended up doing the dirty. The dirty being a
very passionate kiss, then Luke laying on top of Leia.
This was before Return of the Jedi came out of course...

You'd break him in in no time. You're the pony mistress, after all. And isn't purple, blue and gold a lovely colours?

Joakim, as I understand it (I've read a lot of Greek and Roman history books), small penises (peni? Never had to think of the plural for penis before) were considered much more aesthetically pleasing than the larger penises (or peni), which is why so many greek and roman statues of antiquity feature penises (or peni) of the smaller variety. The ones that have no penises (or peni) were defaced by moralists at some later point since there are not many men who would be jealous of the statues' kibbles and bits.

Since it's an -is ending I sort of doubt it would be peni (that's the Latin -us, well at least one of them), I feel more inclined to go with penes in that case, but am unsure of whether the word (or the the suggested conjugation* for that matter) is Latin or Greek. So don't take my word for it. Peni, however, does not seem correct.
* Right now unsure of whether conjugation can be used to describe this "phenomenon" with nouns, or if that's strictly related to verbs.
As for the size thing, the sculpture I'm talking about isn't classical. It was made by a Swedish artist, Carl Milles, in the first half of the 20th century.
Here's the sculpture btw.

Man - you have no idea how many times I've tried to use that line on Julie.
Wasn't too amused when she tossed it back at me once (ok, I was a little amused).

Of course size matters... ...only it seems that people tend to forget that that does not equate that biggest is the best size. As in most things it's a matter of fitting and being adapted to the functions at hand. If you want to get into a very small pipe for instance, you don't send for the biggest guy with the barn door hands, right? Nor would you want a sweater that's too baggy or too tight. It's all in the fit.

For woman it's more about what you can do with what you got.
