I have the same tattoo on my shoulder--same location same arm--cool! I think that makes, you, me and Jon Bon Jovi (shudder)!
And every other Queer down in Queerville. One of the things that most distressed me after getting my S-shield was how many OTHER guys had one -- worse, how many GAY guys have them!
Superman seems to be a powerful symbol for gays...
The work wasn't really a problem, but not being able to stand the people that were working out with me made me really hate going to the gym.
Steve, I feel you on this, believe me. A lot -- a LOT -- of people go to the gym to socialize. It drives me crazy, too. I searched around a long time before I found a gym that was right for me (and I'm a member of two gyms, so I switch off depending on mood/ workout).
We got my mom a Wii-fit for Xmas and she LOVES it!*
*My mom recently won the bronze medal at the Senior Olympics for backstroke. She teaches a daily water-aerobics course at her local YMCA where she has quite a following. Go, girl! Never too old!

I agree Steve that EVERY gym I've ever been a part of has that same group of
doughy meatheads that think they know more than you. And the group of
ladies who wear the leotards from the 80s who haven't sweated in about
that long as well.
I hate to brag, but I have great legs. I'm short and dense, so they look big for
my size. I was doing some major squat exercises when this jack ass who
was a one time visitor comes around and tries to "inspire" me to do it better.
I put the squat rack bar back on the rack, looked at his scrawny bird legs,
starting from the feet, all the way up to his d**k and just said "thanks" in the
most sarcastic, valley girl tone that I could. He left me alone after that.

Well, maybe you all just had huge crushes on the guy. I mean he IS SUPERman, so if you’re somebody who's into men (gays and heterosexual women alike), it seems like a worthy ideal man. Sorta. ;)

Hey Jodi, i promise to take as many pics as i can. My partner's father is visiting from Minneapolis and we'll get together in Puerto Vallarta's Sheraton Hotel. By the way, from some time, Puerto Vallarta has become one of the Gay Turist Destination!
But we are going on a Family Mode.... ;)

Joakim: Pounds are great, especially if you’re shopping in the UK.
True, but in the beach, and with a sexy swingwear, it's unconfortable to carry change around! ;)

Tom I am going to turn this up a notch as a getting older mom.

Joakim I am glad you like him. Not knowing anything about this character when I got done with him I said "Oh man, he has got to be gay, he is way too handsome to be straight."
He is a really fun looking character, I am going to have to go back and check out some of the old issues.

There is a Masterworks volume out with his early adventures Jodi and a second one, featuring the Jim Starlin work onthe character from 70s (HIGHLY recommended stuff!), due to be published this spring. And then you have The Infinity Gauntlet to look forward to.
Now, I've only got to convince you to make a matching Thanos pony as well. ;)

Okay, can I confess something here without sounding too gay? The only problem I had with JB's Superman was his not-so-super package! For a while, I felt like Byrne was making fun of him by making it so small. His "bits and pieces" -- I felt -- SHOULD be more... pronounced than a normal man! I mean, come on!
He's got the bod, for heaven's sake, wouldn't the yellow sun affect EVERYTHING???
There -- gay moment over -- we now return you to the thread already in progress...
