Oh, Moyer, that's nice.  Coming down to the end of my two weeks vacation at home, too.  Boy have I enjoyed it.  Slept and ate and lifted and slept and ate and lifted -- wish I could do that all the time!

Here's me this morning, cold (before going to the gym), at 239:

Okay, but you know what?  Let's make a point here -- a point about comics, of all things.

So, I'm 6'1" 239 (240 for simpler math) and though you'd classify me as a big guy, I'm certainly not a HUGE guy.  I think Superman and I have a similar frame, although he's a couple of inches taller -- which means for Superman to have MY build, he'd have to weigh about 245-250.  Yet Superman is often drawn MUCH larger (265-270) by artists other than Byrne (who I think wisely keeps Superman lean.)

Clark Kent, on the other hand, is rarely drawn as a 265lb man in a suit.  I know the old "they carry themselves differently" thing, but for a man as large as Superman, that disguise wouldn't last long.

Too much thought?  I still DO love comics.  I just always used to laugh at those WHO'S WHO entries that had the characters height and weight.  Those numbers were always crazy!
