See, personally I can't connect with that notion at all. And I'm sure it's partially due to not having a really great desire to reproduce (leastways not so far). It's not that I don't like kids (I'd probably even be decent father if it came to that, or so people tell me), but I enjoy being the gun guy who plays with the kids at parties and the like, and then be the guy who can sleep in the next morning... which from what I've gleaned of parenthood is not an option, really.
More Kevin: "Well, the attraction is a little stronger than either of you thought,
and as you fumble with each other's clothes she whispers into your
mouth 'I used to be a man'. Think on a gut level how this
would feel, about the very person you were so hot for just a second
ago. It's obviously deception by omission, but the real betrayal is on
a molecular level: your seed is on a rocky path where it will find no
purchase." While I can't respond to my reaction if I'd encounter this, a bit of a tricky question on many levels (and a wee bit off the homosexual bit as well in all honesty), but I don't think the the lack of reproduction would be an issue. And I'm not sure a lot of men would either... If that were the case we wouldn't be so good at inventing ways of getting to have sex without spawning, methinks.

And yet for the most part attraction is based upon fecundity.
Put it this way: would you have sex with your best friend if he/she belonged to a gender you weren't attracted to?

++++++++++++++++++
My understanding of fecundity is that it's more or less your ability to
reproduce. If that's the case, I would disagree. Maybe your ability to attract
a long term relationship might be lessened but I have a hard time imagining
anyone at a social scene saying "that person is infertile but very physically
attractive, so I'm not interested."

But what things do we find attractive? The classic markers of an attractive woman ARE linked to her fitness as a mother: youth, wide hips, large breasts.
People: can we at least agree that the primary purpose of sex is reproduction? I feel like I'm taking crazy pills!

I have "known" for 20 years that Rob Halford was gay. I have heard him stating that he had a boyfriend during a Swedish interview I believe.

Hey, everybody -- hope the day is great! We're about to go have dinner with the in-laws at the sister and brother-in-law's house (they were the ones who parented the kid who fed Betty the wine cork -- she's staying home)
Hope your days are just as soap-operatic!
Peace and love!
