Funny story; at the local science fiction convention a couple of years ago we had three slave girl Leias show up, all very attractive, and since we have a slave auction it was decided that they would all be parcelled off together. The opening bid was fifty bucks and then a buddy of mine (who was in the other room and assumed it had already gotten pretty high), leaned in and shouted out a bid of 200 bucks, not thinking that would be nearly enough. But because of the huge jump and the nonchalant way he had bid the other bidders assumed that he was going to outbid everybody so they say on their hands so he got 3 slave girl Leias for 200 bucks. A bargain at twice the price.
Luckily he brought his camera. And got some... very nice shots.

Ironically, the short cropped reddish tinted one (hair-wise) gets my vote for most attractive (ironic in the sense that she’s probably least Leia-esque.

Well, as long as I get the one I voted for, you can take yours however you please, Al (though I’d recommend clearing it with the wifey first so as to avoid a post facto mess).

New technology IS freakin’ scary, ain’t it? Now, unless you want the next posted pic to be the pic of YOU KNOW WHAT I'd suggest you wire over some dollars pronto. ;)

Seconded.
And I think I just got the internal joke in your ”GIBSON/HAMMER 2012” signature, Al, without even visiting the Election thread once.

Speaking of signatures AL, I have been seeing that unicorn quote for a long time, and only just today noticed Rachael Ray's name underneath...that somehow makes it 100 times funnier.

The beginning of Steve's story is could be to a Penthouse forum letter -- the ending would be far to close to my real life . . . .

"Dear Penthouse,
I never thought that something like this would happen to me. I was at a rest stop on the interstate when a van full of Catholic schoolgirls pulled into the parking space next to me..............."

Sheesh...so much for talking about Thanksgiving plans! Denied by Slave Girl
Leias and a bunch of horndogs! Sigh...
Kidding aside... any Robot Chicken fans??? They just did another spoof on
Star Wars and I was literally falling out on the floor. I'm surprised George
Lucas let them get away with some of the comments.

I'd go for slave Leia were it not for my unfortunate resemblence to Jabba. And we know how that turned out for Jabba. You enslave a girl, lick her face, it's all in fun, then - wammo! Choked with a chain.

When its really your chicken you want choked!
Getting away from adolescent fantasies (or in Talley's case late 20's fantasies) and to Thanksgiving I will be having the usual two stops -- the first at a restaurant with the inlaws. The second the more Rockwell like dinner at my parents house -- where traditionally and inevitebly -- my Dad will fall asleep in his chair watching "Christmas Vacation." Sort of the unofficial kick off of the Christmas season in the Gibson Family.
