Nooooooo! You mustn't say stuff like that too people with curiousity enough to level a cat city (they are out there, I tell ya!) and a rampant imagination. I can feel my brain overheating from the chain reaction started. ;)

As an aside... ever since yesterday's discussion on the pronunciation of my name and JB's revelation of how he'd thought it'd be pronounced, I've find myself thinking "Wha-keem" at some intervals. Maybe another nickname to adopt. Sounds kinda heroic. :)

We don't really know the back-story with Stash, but the one we've created is great fun.  He came to us without any real psychological issues and he knew how to "sit" and "do your business outside" (what more could a man want?).  I'm guessing that he belonged to some college kid or some apartment dweller that ultimately wasn't allowed to have a dog, so gave him up.  (He was not quite a year old when we got him.)

As I said, our new girl (we're thinking about "Sister" as a name) was an Iowa flood victim.

Why not name her Bong?  Then you have a Stash and a Bong.

Thank you, Moyer -- I've missed your pumpkin-ny face around here!

Then you have a Stash and a Bong.

Hardy Har... actually, we didn't name Stash "stash" for the obvious reason, but  because he takes everything given to him and hides it around the house.  It's common to move a cushion on a chair and find a pile of dog biscuits and bones.

One lady at the dog park thought his name was "Snatch."  We haven't finished laughing about that.  We even debated giving that name to the new dog, to have Stash and Snatch.
