I think Wesley Snipes said it best in Too Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything
Julie Newmar
...

His character, Noxeema Jackson says:

"When a straight man puts on a dress and goes on a sexual kick he is a
transvestite. When a man is a woman trapped in a man's body and has a
little operation he is a Transsexual. When a gay man has way too much
fashion sense for one gender he is a drag queen. And when a tired little
Latin boy puts on a dress, he is simply a boy in a dress! "

Al -

To quote Simon Oakland (Dr Richmond) in "Psycho":

and SPOILER for that movie!!!

A man who dresses in women's clothing in order to achieve a sexual change, or satisfaction, is a transvestite. But in Norman's case, he was simply doing everything possible to keep alive the illusion of his mother being alive. And when reality came too close, when danger or desire threatened that illusion - he dressed up, even to a cheap wig he bought. He'd walk about the house, sit in her chair, speak in her voice. He tried to be his mother! And, uh... now he is.

Wesley Snipes really did a good job as Noxeema Jackson (great name) but
damn his arms were the size of basketballs!

Wait. Norman was dressing up as his mother? Then who was that in the
chair that he was talking to, huh? I'm not falling for that kind of silliness,
Andrew.

You had me going there for a minute, though.

About that video of Keith Olbermann:

Everything I might have wanted to say about opposition to gay marriage. Magnificent eloquence. Thanks for posting it.

Didn't the 1950's Adventures of Superman show commercials with Clark Kent and Jimmy Olsen having breakfast together in "their" kitchen?

Wink, wink, nudge, nudge.
