Andrew -- thanks for posting that link. I have it on my FB page! Forgot to put it up here. Thought that speech was really good, a LITTLE over-dramatic, but got his point across well.

Wow! I hadn't seen that Olbermann piece. Powerful stuff...He managed to say many of the things I had been thinking for myself. I have sent that link to quite a few people myself now...thanks.
Tom, Here's hoping that this thread is still alive and kicking when it's time to change the name again to My Big fat gay...10th anniversary. I get so much joy from this thread everyday. Jimmy is so hot in that scene...he should do tranny more often...I can just picture him Lip-Syncing Gloria Gaynor.

Oh boy! I can sense that I'm just about to learn something! What's the
difference between 'doing drag' and 'transvestite'?
I've always figured that a 'transvestite' was a man of any sexual orientation
who felt compelled/comfortable to wear women's clothing, and that 'doing
drag' was a gay man dressing up as a woman for fun and/or profit
(performing).
What don't I know or understand?
(It's this kind of stuff that makes this thread so educational for the naive and
sheltered like me. Love it!)

I bet he could put on one hell of a drag show ...all superhero themed...with songs matched up to heroines...
