What a horrible slippery slope to enact laws that exist only to prevent civil liberties instead of protecting them.

Sad that such an historic vote, a vote that goes a long way toward showing the changes that are country has made, is making, and is ready to make, should be tainted by the passing of Prop 8.  A proposition that is just more proof of bigotry and hatred, where understanding and tolerance is what we need.

Don

as an aside I guess I was a little to touchy about the booers in McCain's audience.  The man himself was without a doubt a class act.

We're lucky Palin didn't get elected or there'd be a FEDERAL law, too.

I'm not going to let Prop 8 ruin my day... but I feel for all our brothers and
sisters who have been dealt this devastating, odd, backwards blow. The
fight is definitely not over!

Thanks for the Build-O-Bama link Juan Jose! I just downloaded the
template!

I'm appalled prop HATE passed. It only won by 2%, that's always hope for the future. I think Massachusetts' the only state that it's still legal?

I think she's [Palin] pretty.  And I'll leave it at that.  Mother always said if you don't have anything nice to say . . . . . .
