Apple donates $100,000 to fight Proposition 8

Just to say, Eric and I donated $100 bucks the other day -- just to try and balance the MILLIONS of dollars the Morman Church has sunk into destroying gay marriage in CA -- and, not unlike the rabid fools at MoveOn.org, these Prop8 folks now won't leave us alone!

Like MoveOn, Prop8 has been bombarding us with email!  When we ask them to stop, they DON'T!  It's crazy!  I just want to defend marriage, not be on a mailing list by extremists!!!!!

One of the things that has impressed me in the fight against Prop 8 is the clergy and faithful standing up to their churches on this issue.

There was the Fresno (one of the more redder parts of California) priest who outed himself and told his congregation that he was morally compelled to vote no:

Michael, that's the feel-good story of the day for me!

Gotta run...my partner and i are host for a U2Charist today (an Anglican Eucharist with music from U2, instead of the traditional hymns). I made the promo and multimedia.

This is the third one that we do in 2 years....so, pray for us!!!

Don't worry Victor - I'm not going on a date with Marc!

However - having said that - I will be working in San Mateo all week next week - I have a super busy schedule, but if I can squeek out any free time, I'd be up for an informal SF Bay Area JBFest.  Just a thought.

Juan - I've been following your U2Charist stuff on facebook - I love the sign you made.  It's awesome.  Keep it up, buddy!!

OK. I'm thinking I'll have to move to California if I want anyone from this
thread to ever come and visit me...
