There's a character that believes that he's the "only gay in the village"

****

I love how all the old people don't care he's gay and know about stuff that you think they shouldn't like poppers.

Little Britain", and it's so funny

I just started watching this, I agree it's soooooo funny.

 Lebanese food with pickles

I have never had Lebanese food, is it spicy?

Dang Tom your pecs are huge.Lookin gooooood!

Man I am getting so frustrated with my computer, I have a PC and a new Mac but I can't get used to the Mac so I keep going back to my PC but we put a pop up blocker on it and I am not getting all my emails, ARGH!!!!!!!!  A girlfriend I hadn't seen in a couple years was in town last weekend and had emailed me to let me know and but I didn't get them. we were gone when she called and she didn't leave a message because she was so busy. She called me today to let me know I had missed her, I am so sad  :0(

OK thanks for letting me vent.

I miss Al.

I am going to LA on the 12th and renting a car at the airport will the driving make me want to kill myself?  Has anyone drove in LA? I would love some tips.

It's not spicy hot if that's what you're wondering. My brother says it's "mostly meat".

LA driving is about dealing with lane changes and knowing which freeways to avoid when. The latter you'll kind of just have to deal with when you are there.

Regarding the former, you have to be defensive because a lot of people refuse to signal and are aggressive about getting into your lane. On the flip side, you'll have to be a little aggressive about making lane changes, otherwise a lot of people won't let you over.

Hey everybody!

Sorry I haven't been able to be around - I'm not really here right now, in
fact.

Just wanted to let you know how much I've been missing hanging out with
everyone here. I've been away and way too busy to post (and not really near
any internet connections, either).

I'm back but I've been trying to focus on catching up with work before I can
indulge in catching up here. Hopefully by tomorrow afternoon I'll be back
on board and able to post like regular.

HOORAY!  Al's back!!!!  Can't believe how much I've missed the running sarcastic commentary on this site!

I have a PC and a new Mac but I can't get used to the Mac so I keep going back to my PC but we put a pop up blocker on it and I am not getting all my emails, ARGH!!!!!!!!

PLEASE trust me, Jodi -- you will end up loving the Mac WAY more than you've ever loved any other PC.  Now, maybe because I was born and raised on them, but I find the Mac so logical and easy, when I switched to this PC (because of work), it drove me crazy.  I miss my Mac so much!  Give yourself some time.  And if you have any questions, holler here.

Tom, I think the whole logical/easy aspect is more a question of what one grew up on. I'm a PC man myself, with a Mac in my office at Uni, and while I get by in with the Mac (apart from it being old and horribly slow, partly because it has to use an operative system which it is not quite suited for capacity wise just to communicate with the new printers they installed a few years ago.  But I always tend to prefer PC over Mac.  And while I grant that there are certain logical inconsistencies on a PC if you're not used to it (e.g. closing down under the Start menue), the same could be said for Mac (e.g. needing to put a diskette or later CD/DVD in the trash can to get it out of the computer*).

*  And yes, I am aware that the normal argument there is that you want to "throw" the icon off the desktop, but seriously, everything else you put in the trash can, you do so to delete, so not very logical.

My youngest son's school is an all Mac school and he loves the new mac and has no problem with it, Joakim I am with you, I think I am just a PC person. I do love garage band and the movie making program on mac though. The kid that lives with us loves Mac's and keeps saying the only way to switch, is to go cold turkey with the PC. Which I just can't seem to do.

I too am so glad Al is back!
