Jodi, now you've tempted me to write a wee something with the
title "The Bris Singer". Must... resist... temptation...

Well, my girlfriend certainly enjoyed the HP books (though she did
say it became a bit of "chore" towards the end). For my own part, I've not
(possibly yet) read them, but am following the movie versions with some
enthusiasm. :)

Btw, do you have GoodReads? It's webpage where you can "present" to
friends what you're reading and review books you've read. It's also
available as an FB app, but if you want to do it, I'd register on their site
first and then add the FB app version which will then just connect the two
(but seems to work better that way at any rate).
http://www.goodreads.com   if you're interested and not already there...
Same goes for anyone else of course, and especially fellow FB:ers.

I'm on good reads.  My wife uses good reads as way to encourage her students reading habits...it's one of the many ways that she creates a community of readers in her classroom.

The kids love sharing their opinions and recommendations with her and each other.

My first out loud laugh this morning came from this lovely picture....I knew it needed to be on this thread.

May I introduce the Super Snuggler

Huh! Over here we just did a literal translation – "kakmonstret" - but
the
Mexican verson makes some sense. And I guess I'm a Lucas too in that
sense, seeing that I am el Suede Loco (and I hope my EXTREMELY limited
knowledge of Spanish got that translation right).

There's only one thing Joakim, Sweden in Spanish is called Suecia, so all
the inhabitants are called Suecos. So to do it properly in Spanish you
should say you are: El Sueco loco! -but you did it really well-.

I was just reading Asterix Legionnaire this past weekend... Talk about
coincidences!

Right now I'm rereading my favorite -almost obsessively- book: Night`s
Master, a book by Tanith Lee... I absolutely love it!! -I always imagined
the characters in JB's hands... that could be awesome!-

Worse, look at the small picture on the lower left.  Doesn't that Superman look like he's playing with himself?
