OK I must say that kind of bored me, but I will not hold that against you Brian.

Question for everyone, right now if you had a mixed homemade CD in your car, what are your 2 favorite songs on it.Here's mine:

When these two songs come on I know people in other cars think I am having a seizure. LOL

All time favorite song, it explains exactly how I feel about my sons

That Fergie song makes me want to blow up any radio station that plays it, but I won't hold that against you, Jodi.

It's funny I have a mixed cd with all my favorite songs and my oldest son refuses to ride with me if I play it, he calls it, "riding around with chick music from hell" LOL

Hey! I can play this game without any imagination required: The mix CD in
my car right now has these two songs on it, which are two of my all-time
favourites.

I See A Darkness - Johnny Cash

The Man's Too Strong - Dire Straits

Cole Porter was one of those guys who wrote for both theatre and "popular" music (remember when they were one and the same?).  I have love for him, too, but I'm more of a Gershwin guy, myself.

Zow! Neat. When was that?

I met Bernstein in 1985, when my college sang his CHICHESTER PSALMS -- which I love, btw.  He was disappointed to have women singing them (they're composed for boy's choir and men), but bore up well.

He was an amazing man -- an INCREDIBLE aura!  You could FEEL him in the room, he was that powerful.  I was lucky enough to be chosen to work with him in a master class for composition -- where he complimented me as a lyricist!!!!  One of the most amazing meetings of my life, and I've been fortunate enough to meet a lot of people in my short 44 years.
