Damn now I have to go back and listen to bad music to see what is so interesting with this video.

Still didn't find it.

WELCOME HOME TOM !!!!!!!!!!

My husband was happy to see me -- though not nearly as happy as I was to see him

Tom remember Eric's been home dealing with the kids while you have been away being a world traveler, did you bring him a gift? If he likes a backrub offer to give him one right before he goes to sleep as a thanks for keeping the home fires burning.

Not bad, Warren.  Here's mine:

I love pop music, but Al's Morningwood left a bad taste in my mouth...

My Morningwood's been known to do that.

BTW: Nice pics, Tom! Everything I've always wanted to see and do in
Edinburgh. It must have been awesome.

Hey, a 'not bad' from Kevin! Wootwoot.

I'll take it where I can get it. Ahem.

Since it feels like I know too much about you already, Tom, I thought: 'Hey, me and the missus went there! I wonder if he went blabla - '

But I can't open the album. It be closed! Should we be friends or what?

Feel free!  I'm the King of "blah blah blah."  I am the guy you want to invite to your cocktail party (no pun intended) because I can shmooz and small-talk ANYBODY.  I was saying to the kids at our closing night pizza party, put me in front of an audience, give me a topic and I'll give you a twenty-minute monologue.  It's a sickness -- but that's probably why I'm a teacher.

But I can't open the album. It be closed! Should we be friends or what?

I'm a bit of a friend-whore, so I'm cool with that.  But it should be open to anybody to view.  Anybody know how to do that?  Am I missing something, or should I just put them on Photobucket or something?

LOL OK now that's pretty funny.

Tom you have led such an interesting life, not only can you talk about anything for 20 minutes, your life has spillover, I was telling someone about your Osmond connnection and they were saying how interesting that would be.

edited to add: Love the pictures , what's the dead bird picture about?

...not only can you talk about anything for 20 minutes, your life has spillover...

It certainly has been an UNUSUAL run, but I consider that more of a "right place/ wrong time" "wrong place/ right time" than anything else.  On the other hand, my conducting professor in college said I was always going to remain unfulfilled in my life until I focused on one area of concentration (which I consider the "academic mindset.").  In some ways, though, he's right. I do flit between, like, five different things, any one of which I could focus on and be successful, but I get so bored...  (Never stuck to the meds, either...lol)

Love the pictures , what's the dead bird picture about?

In AESOP'S FOIBLES (the show we took to Scotland), there's the character of the Jackdaw -- a Jackdaw is a small crow, mostly found in the European countries.  Our show's Jackdaw, the Fox's sidekick and henchman, had a wounded wing -- which kept her from retrieving grapes for the Fox.

When in London, we went on a "guerilla tour" of the Tate Museum of Modern Art and saw this:

Part of one artist's "sculpture" -- it even had "Jackdaw" in the title -- so we started joking with the girl who played the role that THIS Jackdaw had more than a hurt wing.  "Dead Jackdaw," we'd sing all the time.  "Dead Jackdaaaaaaw!"

That's all it is, Jodi.  A running gag, a stupid back-story joke...

See, though?  It proves my earlier point.  One topic -- one audience -- instant monologue...
