I used that trick in high school...Gay bars were the best place to pick up straight girls...
I could dance, joke around, and be myself. Eventually I would get at least one, "Oh, if only you weren't gay..."..
And off we go....
good times, good times...

I misread that dialogue there at first glance, but have to say it's
considerably funnier the way my brain parsed it...
L's and I's look way too much like U's to my bad eyes.
