Sorry, Moyer -- my days of "long, flowing locks" are far, far behind me. Although it's longer now than it has been in years, just note the pic a few pages back and you'll see that even that ain't much.
I have the s-shield on my left shoulder, of course, and I don't regret it at all -- fourteen years later. Let's see how I feel about it in another ten.

See it there?

I would not want to have been your opponent's forehead just then. Ouch.

We're on a wrestling mat, Al. It's soft and squishy.

Ah. Good to know!
All I know about wrestling is what my older brothers taught me. And we had
hardwood. And iron floor vents. And they cheated...

Oh my god visions of having my elbows pinned to the ground by my older brothers knees as he dangled a "loogie" millimeters from my face...the horror!

Don -- that's called a "school boy" pin and there's plenty of horrors that can go along with it. None the least of which is the proximity of the captive's face to the pinner's crotch.
Good times...

Tom, you don't make it sound like a horror...but then again the same pin can be used as sign of love....

A cold teabag was always my grandmother's cure for a black eye.
