 QUOTE:

From what I've read it seems like he was trying his best to make her interesting. But what little personality she had was negative. She was vain, egotistical and selfish. When she was changed by Inferno she honestly did not seem much different

Was she that vain and selfish?  Again, so long since I read much of it.  I recall that she felt out of place in that lifestyle.  She was at home singing.  Early on she questioned whether she really belonged there.

Couple things that spring to mind from her Uncanny stint.  She and Juggernaut fighting in England.  I also recall her and Rogue fighting over Longshot.  Dazzler thought Rogue was making a play for him.   She didn't leave much of an impression on me, good or bad.  Probably why I don't recall some of the specifics regarding her.

I've already said that I wound up really enjoying X Factor later on.  I was actually even more interested and invested in it's goings on than Uncanny.  It had my 2 favorite X Men members and the original 5 in general were my favorite X Men.  For good or bad, that was the X Men series I was most into at the time.

Larry at first she wasn't. It just seemed like the more Claremont dug trying to maker her interesting, only negative traits came out. She was not evil but certainly not a likable person. It was the incident where she went into a jealous rage over Longshit and Rogue that started me off to disliking her. It was also when she became very jealous of Havok and hispowers.Taking unprovoked shots at him constantly. I guess it could of been good for convict but nobody ever really called her on her behavior.

Hm... tried to add (now also incl.contemporaneous X-Men stuff) to the thread title, but it wouldn't take for some reason... Is there any time limit for editing post titles for non-mods?

I don't think so.  Wasn't too long, was it?

I don't think so, I used the shortened "incl." since I couldn't type too much...
