Wonderful whimsical piece.  Love the facial expressions -- Doom's "oh no you don't" and Selina's "ooops, I'm in trouble now."

I think somewhere in the "witty banter" that follows there might be an off-hand reference to "number of ways to skin a cat". Probably seconds before Selina decides to volunteer her services in one of Doom's schemes.

I don't know if I've lost my marbles.. but my impression of this piece is that it is the best pure illustration I've seen from you, JB. I think a big part of it is complexity of the image -- degree of difficulty -- plus great subject matter.

What amazes me is the attention to detail JB always shows. The carpet, candles, and table all fit the decor of what Dr. Doom would have in his castle.
