I've never seen this issue so I must ask, is there a purpose to the unusual
coloring of page 14?

That's a "Nathan's eye view" -- or at least as close as we could get back
there in the 20th Century. He can see into the infrared, and the scene takes
place in a pitch dark room.

Page 18 is my favorite - the subtle clues that all is not as it seems, and the description of Hilltop is spot-on.

"He can see into the infrared"

*******

and the scene is pretty hot, so Nathan can't miss anything ... It's the first time I saw JB drawing nudity scene and sexual interaction in a comic book (everything he has done so far was "only" suggesting, am I mistaken ?).

This is a great issue.

And, truth to tell, you didn't really see either of those things in this
scene!

(Well -- Jasmine's bum. . . )

When you decided to let Dark Horse publish the Next Men, did you "warn" them of the "mature readers" content that might prevent younger readers to buy/read the comic ?

If the title had been published by Marvel or DC, in what measure would the story has been different (including the fact that neither of the big two would have let you draw this kind of nudity/sexual scene stuff )
