That wrap around cover makes me wish JB had never left that book-- I know it's a tired old saw, but the heart wants what the heart wants!
Seeing Wolverine's back in that shot makes me ask a question:
JB, your design for Wolverine's costume had a distinctive back, where the main color from the front ended just under Wolverine's shoulders. I never saw any other artist get it right -- which frustrated me as a Byrne fan who noticed that sort of thing. I felt like nobody was really looking at your design or they were all trying to say you got it "wrong."
In that wraparound Sentinel cover (and a few other places) I notice you draw the back as everyone has since you left. Was this a conscious choice?
Edit: (I admit, I feel like this is a dumb question, but there's this battle running in my head and seeing you draw the back "their way" makes me feel like the artists who came after you "won" by getting you to abandon your original design. So, dumb or not, I just had to ask.)

That's something I noticed too Mark and didn't like when other artists did that.
