His run was and always will be the DEFINITIVE period of Avengers to me (with the Perez/Byrne/Shooter period a fairly close second).

Either AVENGERS or ASM. I love 'em both. And he's the only writer to make Dr. Strange interesting to me. ( Haven't gotten to the Lee/ Ditko issues yet.)
