Wallace, I think the Iron Man you saw was from an Issue of Marvel Adventures Iron Man (the best series the character had in years!) where Iron Man is beaten by a villian and has to hide on an Amish-like community that eschews technlogy. So he has to build a new suit with the limited resources at hand.
OK, the concept is a bit far-fetched, But the story is cool.
