would you settle for an unlimited amount of limited series?
Wayne Osborne -
I'm there!
...It's real good to see books like this and Spider-Girl, which I looked up after Wallace S. and Paul G. mentioned in another thread. Books that exploit the
strengths of comics with story and art.

I am having the hardest time trying to get FX. I work in DC for the next
two weeks before moving to Boston.
In Union Station a new comic shop opened. It sucks (very poor selection,
and very small) but I really wanted to get FX and I didn't have many other
options, so I placed an order. The next week, no FX, the week after still
no FX, so I placed the order yet again. Needless to say, working with the
same idiot for the past month and a half, and still no FX. Today I found
out that even though I had some lame folder set up and everything, when
FX came in they put it on the shelf and sold it. Thanks moron. I move in
two weeks so I don't have time to goof around with him any more. So alas
I will have to wait until I move and try again. At this rate I will get all six
issues at the same time.
Moral of the story? DON'T SHOP AT THE UNION STATION COMIC SHOP IN
DC. They have no idea what they are doing!!

I just read it and found it very entertaining....and orange is my favorite color, followed by purple, so I really dug the vibrant colors...among the obvious things, it really made this book stand out. Can't wait to keep reading.

Sounds like they could do with buying an extra bunch anyway. I mean since it seems to go off the shelf. Moronic on many levels.

Just picked this up (last issue in the store! Whew!): very fun old-school comic, and more new characters than you can shake a stick at!
Weeee!

Another fun issue. I really like how much is being put into each issue. This issue gave us the conclusion of issue two's confrontation, expansion on the Vicki character, the introduction of Melvin/Madcap (another villain) and a battle with steroid gas-enhanced cheerleaders! Fun, fun, fun!
The only thing missing was the "Cause and FX!" page. Maybe next issue.
Great job, Wayne!

I picked up my copy yesterday and I continue to enjoy this series. It's been fun so far.
Kudos for getting John Workman to letter this series. Lettering is one of those thankless jobs where you usually get noticed only when you make a mistake. But Workman's work on Thor really stood out in my mind and he's doing a good job on this series, too.

Thanks again everyone.
Joe the Cause and FX page will be in issue six. That's where I'm going give
my props to all that helped.

Read it last night. Enjoyed it as usual but could have done with a recap on the inside front cover as I'd forgotten what happened at the end of #2.
Is that 'our' Gerry Turnball handling colours? Didn't notice before.

Wayne, your writing improves with each issue. I hope that you find a way to
keep giving us more FX after issue #6. (The only thing about the issue that
bothered me is the t------- c-- on the last page. I have a super smart
female character who wears one! Rats!)
