Read it at lunch...can't believe we're at the half-way point now!
I like that we get some answers, but of course, there are more questions raised!

"Nothing bad -- but take the cover -- BIG purple and BIG orange -- you
just don't see them together that prominently all the time -- some of the
interior pages do the same thing.
I was just curious on the process about color choices and color editing --
who says what to who and that type of thing."
Short version - it just worked out that way.
Long version - the character Raye is based on my wife whom I had a
major crush on all through high school (persistence pays off). So, when I
was coming up with story ideas, she jokingly said she'd like to be a "big
ol' girl" and throw people around - and issue three just clicked into place.
The evil genius Melvin, the steroid gas, the GRRRRRLs, everything. It got
me my Hulk tribute and another villain who is much more suited to be
FX's archenemy - Melvin, or Madcap as he soon will be called. And once
the art was finished, I asked her what color she wanted to be and it was
purple (of course). So combine that with the colors of the Tigers, the
school mascot, and you get orange and purple.

Nice back story there, Wayne. And you're getting me really hungry to read this issue.

Good book. Although it could stand to be an "unlimited series".
lots of fun. Kudos!

Eric - would you settle for an unlimited amount of limited series?
And thanks!

Wayne, has there been any word (or is it too early) regarding a second series at this point?

Wayne, perhaps you can go to your LCS and sign a few copies for the kids and they will give you a free copy. :)

Oh, I got a copy at the shop. Sorry I didn't get that.
And I've been signing every weekend at the LCS after the books come in.
That's been very fun. Actually got some copies in the hands of some kids
too. They seemed to like it a lot.
