Bill,
I'm on the southwestern corner of NH, right by the Vermont and Massachusetts border.
BTW, you don't have a sister (or relative) named Beth by any chance, do you?

Ed,
Not that I know of but, you live in New Hampshire, the closer you get to Manchester/Concord the more of "My" Roberges your going to bump in to!
Anyway, any time you want a free lunch on me I would love a chance to talk about your time at Marvel or any other assorted topics just e-mail me.
Bill

BTW, if anyone is interested to ask a recreation of a cover to Hannigan like
my Spm #168 cover, you'll find all of his work in The Grand Comics
Database Project (GCD):
http://qurls.com?i=33724
His fees are $125 for the pencils of a recreation.
From my experience, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!!

Hmm. I guess I don't have the hang of mixing images with text here. Anyway, the above is a sketch I did inspired by....hell, directly ripped off from Joe Kubert's Our Fighting Forces # 93, July 1965 cover. I thought it would make a great Batman cover and Len Wein agreed and promised to write a story to go with it or assign one. I could picture it being drawn by Kubert himself or maybe Paul Gulacy.
The sketch hung on on the wall by his desk for years but it was never to be,
Bruce, sorry to hear about your wife. If she is experiencing too much fatigue, which is common in MS patients, have her ask her doctor about Provigil. It's a narcolepsy drug but is being prescribed for MS patients. It doesn't treat MS, but it does help with the fatigue. It's non-addictive and you don't build a tolerance. I only take it one or two days a week, on days when I know I have a lot to do.

I'll pass that allong Ed, as fatigue is definitely one of her biggest problems.....especially since she's a high school teacher. She's currently using Adderall (sp?), but has to take it twice a day, and since it can be abused she needs a new prescription every month.
Thanks for the tip, and hang in there.

Ed, would you care to offer your candid opinion on the sorry state of today's comic covers? Notwithstanding technical advancements, from an aesthetic point of view, your expert assessment?

Wow! those are great prices!
I've been saving up to get a JB commission - and had no intentions of getting any others, as I guess I'm just not that big a fan of any other artists, but, I have to say.... Ed Hannigan is easily one of the best - his stuff always stood out when I was younger (er, sorry!) - I really think I'd like to get on the list for one from him! (right after I get one from JB!)
Glad to have you here - hope all is ok with you, Mr Hannigan!

The following are only a few samples of covers done by Hannigan that you
can ask him to recreate. You'll find plenty of samples of his work here:
http://qurls.com?i=33724
BTW, Ed did the first 5 issues of Lgends of the Dark Knight compiled in
Batman: Shaman TPB.
