Wow! Have to admit *blushing for shame* that Ed's name didn't really ring a bell when I heard the name, but then you guys go and pull out things that just trigger tons of childhood memories in me. I am happy to inform you all that a few of those covers were also used as covers for the Swedish comics featuring the material (I certainly recognise the Batman Annual and Spider-Man # 70 as cover images I saw as a kid).

I'll have to wait until I get home before I can upload my favourite Hannigan cover but I just found this online and had forgotten he did it.

Welcome to Ed!  Didn't he draw some or all of the original OHOTMU covers?

ASM 251 all the way babay!

Picture it:

ASM 250 has a cliffhanger ending, I'm all a-twitter for 30 days waiting, and I walk in on 'the day' to see THAT!

Go Ed.
Go ASM editor.
Go to your LCS now and see pin-ups.

Welcome to real comics professional. The JBF pro membership is pretty impressive I'd have to say.

Ed, I would like to personally thank you for making it that much harder to wait until I got home to read my comics.  I believe that both you and Mr.Byrne contributed great;y to my ability to walk and read at the same time...a talent I still use today.

Don

Welcome Ed.  Someone else posted my favorite cover, the Marvel Team Up with Spider-man and Man-Thing.

As a kid, I had to buy that issue because of that cover, thought Spider-man was not going to make it.

That Batman Annual is only by JB, though it is an homage to Hannigan because it's signed "John Byrne (after Hannigan)" I don't know what cover it is an homage to though, anyone? JB did ink Hannigan on covers for Marvel Two-in-One #98 & 99.

I think I like Ed Hannigan's Green Arrow better than anyone else's.
