If you want any of these covers recreated, just ask Ed! He's affordable and
reliable!

This is his site:

And here you'll find hundreds of more covers by Ed:

More than anything else, seeing all those covers makes me want to read a lot of those books. And they say that a cover isn't a selling point any longer?

By the way, I'm pretty sure I did not do Spectacular Spider-Man #26.

Those Avengers covers were always favorites of mine. Too bad I don't have all those covers any more. Sold them years ago.

Also, I can't comment on comics today. I don't feel like I am qualified to say anything. I rarely look at comics these days and if I happen to be in a comics store I am usually drawn to the older stuff.

Looking at all those covers I can't help but notice that I was lucky enough to get some really good inkers supporting the pencils. John Byrne, Giordano, Klaus, Milgrom, etc. all "saved" me.

Ed,

As you stated, Spectacular Spider-Man #26 was mistakenly credited in
GCD. According another source, it was done by Jim Mooney and Frank
Springer, the same creative team as the interior. I already asked GCD to
correct it.

I substituted it by the cover of Astonishing Tales #31 (Deathlock) inked by
Berni Wrightson! Talk about great inkers finishing your work!

BTW, you didn't mentioned JB among your inkers list. Maybe you should
correct it... ;-)

My favourite embellisher on your work is Klaus Janson. And, ehem, JB. ;-)

Oops!  Did it!

I also got Al Williamson to ink one, and Walt Simonson on that Marvel Two-In-One that is  a particular favorite of mine, in spite of all the lettering on it. I think he inked a Spider-man as well, if  I recall correctly.

Ed Hannigan? The man who did some of the best issues of SPECTACULAR SPIDER-MAN and created Cloak and Dagger alongside Bill Mantlo?

Welcome!!!
