Kirby, Romita Sr. and J. Buscema pretty much defined how how the
Marvel style would look in the 1960's. Is there really much to debate
about that?
I think JB, Perez and Simonson told stories and showed action in a similar
style to Kirby, Romita and Buscema.
I think it's pretty clear.

What's pretty clear is that Buscema and Romita took comic book lessons
from Kirby himself. After Kirby and Ditko left, the Marvel housestyle has
been pretty much established by Romita and Buscema during the late
60's and even more during the early 70's. Kirby returned in the mid 70's
but by then his style had leap frogged too far away from the Marvel
housestyle to be closely associated to the style he contributed to define.

I'm a big fan of both Buscema and Romita but let's give proper credits
where it's rightfully due.

Anyone know if this is Walt Simonson? It's from RAMPAGING HULK mag:

EDIT, never mind, I think it's Keith Pollard, with Al Alcala on inks.
