I'm of the belief that JB and George Perez are the only two remnants of a period when many artists showed the Kirby influence. Even the simplest scenes have a certain energy and excitement to them.
There are a few younger artists, like John Romita Jr., who bring a similar energy to their work, but not many new ones do.

Just stating for the record, but JR Jr. is only 6 years younger than JB and 2 years younger than Pérez.

I'm of the opinion that the break between those influenced by Kirby and
those that weren't came along a lot later than that. Most of the original
Image guys had some Kirby influence and you can absolutely see it in the
work of Jon Bogdonove, Mike Mignola, Arthur Adams, Darwyn Cooke and
Bruce Timm as well. As far as I can tell--if Kirby comics were coming out
when you were a kid chances are that he's a major influence.
Guys who've broken in during the last decade are less likely to have been
influenced by Kirby but I don't imagine that will continue to be the case
with so much of his work being reprinted these days.
