I just read #2. This has very quickly become my favorite title being currently published. It's just fun, the way superheroes are supposed to be.
The way the opening fight scene was written and scripted makes me wish Wayne and JB could do a Spider-Man story.

MAN I totally agree! I SO thought of young Spider-Man during the final panels of the fight. GOOD COMIC BOOK!

My store was shorted a copy and I got the short straw. Should get this next week. I'm getting my oil changed today and there's a Border's next door. I do believe they carry comics, so maybe I'll get lucky.

Austin Books is very good about carrying EVERYTHING that's printed, and they've been my store since the two store collapse I went through last year. Anyone in the Austin area really doesn't need another store, this one rocks! They had a nice sized stack of FX #2 on the shelves, I didn't check to see if the first issue sold out, but they did order a good number of issue 2, which is a good sign.

Very much enjoyed FX # 2 as well. Though it raised a lot of questions (that
I'm sure will be answered soon....).
Love that hooded skull villain -- I know we've see "similar" costume designs
before but somehow JB made it look fresh to me! (that's a compliment).
Love FX's powers too -- he feels like a Marvel character out of the 70s/early
80s.... (and THAT Wayne, is another compliment!)

I am really enjoying FX.
Thanks for following through on your dreams - hope it's a ($$$) success and you are encouraged to continue to do more - and if it is as good as this first effort of yours, you'll be getting more of my money.

I'm in agreement with everyone else. FX #2 is better than #1.
The pacing of the book is good. There is the right amount of dialogue
and action as well as suspense to keep you wondering what's going to
happen next or what is the deal with Vicki and her Mother.
The character development/interaction is definitely a plus. The chemistry
between Tom, Vicki and Jack is well written.
Also what makes this enjoyable is that it is fun.
In the past there was a longing for some "grittier" elements...some. But
now there is gritty in abundance and it's way over saturated. There is no
balance. FX brings balance to the form.
Great job by all involved.
