Two of my favorites:
Already mentioned above by Bruce:
Some really nice Mike Nasser art in this one:
Also interesting about this one is that in the letters page, it is mentioned that upcoming issues will include a Spider-Man/Angel/Ka-Zar two-parter drawn by Michael Golden. That story woudn't be finally finished and seen until it was used in the first two issues of Marvel Fanfare a few years later.

I loved MTU. I fondly remember the 1st issue with Spider-Man and The Human Torch with the Sandman as the villain. It was a great Christmas story.
I also loved the time travel story with Scarlet Witch, Vision, Dr. Doom, and Moondragon.
I did not liked the fact that the series was cancelled. It was a big mistake. They should have kept it around.

I just don't see the point in canceling it to replace it with another Spider-Man title.
MTU was a great vehicle for featuring lesser-known characters.
Changing MTIO wasn't as big a deal because it was already the Thing's lone 'solo' title. MTU wasn't really used to develop Spider-Man the say way MTIO was used for the Thing.

How about a new Marvel Team-Up book with all women heroes every month? The format could include a regular heroine like the Invisible Woman with the Wasp or it could be two or three different women every month! First issue could be Sue, Janet and Wanda (Scarlet Witch)! Now we just need to come up with a title. I thought "Femme Fatales" would be a cool alliterating title until I read the definition. Not every Marvel woman wants to be known this way !

Loved this (and Two-In-One). Favourites were Red Sonja and Captain Britain issues. First time I ever noticed and decided I really liked a certain JBs work I believe.

Here's another good story from Marvel Team-Up: Issue #100, with Spider-Man teaming with the Fantastic Four. This issue introduces Karma (soon to be a founding member of the New Mutants) and the art is by none other than Frank Miller.
Dan, I like the idea of a female superhero team-up book. That could be a lot of fun.

"Marvel Team-Up" #74, with the "Not Ready For Prime-Time Players" is one of the earliest comics I recall purchasing with my own money (as opposed to my parents buying the comic, or reading my older sibling's comics). I already was aware of "Saturday Night Live" and loved it, and Spider-Man was always a favorite of mine, too.
