I have the FF novel and reread it, about two years ago I bought the Iron Man book. I like it but was not very familiar with Happy Hogan, I am more familiar with Jim Roads. The Captain America book from 1967, was recommended by Beau Smith in his article in CBG, I found it on the ALIBRIS site for $8.00 a while back.

Wow, the three Cockrum covers are absolutely jaw-dropping. They should have had him painting covers for the Marvel Super Specials back then. And of course he gives Nightcrawler the second most prominent position on the cover, right after the Hulk.

As I recall, this X-Men story in the anthology gave Wolverine something of
an origin, stating that his healing powers enabled him to survive the
surgical replacement of his bones with adamantioum replacements.
JB, was this the "official" origin at the time?
