Argh! I've asked every geek in Nagoya where Western comics are at--and
no one knows! Double-argh!

I will have to wait up to Friday for my copy... But coincidentally, this will be a holiday day in Hong Kong, so I will be able to go early in the day. And if available, I will buy 2 copies: one to put with my ashcan copy alltogether and one for reading around with my kids. I am doing that after seeing how they treated my Amazing Spider-Man Brand New Day 546 ! It has a lot of tapes all over to hold it and I don't want that on FX # 01 !

Cons in general are tough for me to plan. Ideally, I should be able to take
off and do as many as I'd like. But usually the real world steps in at the
worst time and there's always something I have to take care of. Owning your
own business is a two-headed coin good at times and not so good at times.

But I promise I'll try to do as many as I can. But I will extend the offer to
everybody. If you really want your book signed, mail it to me and I'll sign
it.*

*offer good for Wayne Osborne signature only. John Byrne
signature not included.

Wayne  I am so happy for you, is it nerve racking waiting to see what everyone says? This is kind of like having a baby.

I am really excited, I am going to go pick up mine tomorrow, I was supposed to get it today but was unable to. I have been looking for something to start and this was perfect.

I have a question about comic con, as opposed to going to a comic shop (to sign comics), I know an artist/ writer would make more at a big event, but I would think going to a shop would be a lot of fun. What are the pro's and con's of each. (this question is for anyone that has been to both)

Thanks, Jodi. And yeah, it is a little bit like that - there's less screaming and
bleeding though.

As to signings - I don't know. I've never done one yet at either venue. But I
have three or four lined up at surrounding comic shops and I'm sure I'll do a
con or two so I'll soon be able to tell you.

best,

Wayne

Yeah, but will Wayne Osborne actually be signing it, or a secretary?!

Cool, I missed that.  I'll buy the individual issues... but if the book turns out how I imagine it will, the trade might be a Christmas gift for a few boys I know.
