I love Alan Davis; easily one of the 5 best artists in the field today.

I'm very ambivalent about Darwyn Cooke. His style has the same baggy, wrinkly, saggy costumes favored by Alex Ross.  Cooke's work looks, to me, like Ross filtered through Bruce Timm.

Love those Timm pieces.  The Oeming stuff looks great too.

I never knew they did anything together. I'll have to Ebay it.

That's where I got mine!

Bill Sienkiewicz -

I have challenges appreciating Bill's artwork.  It's "difficult" for me to "see" what's going on because (through my eyes) it seems "blurry" or "out of focus". Bill's work reminds me of Monet (which could be a compliment to Bill), but then I don't like Monet either!  Honestly, I am not sure why this is, except to say that I prefere in-focus-clarity and realism.

Alan Davis on the other hand . . . . all I can say is WOW !  As an example: Davis' FF: The End is spectacular !
