Paulo -
The Steve Rude piece is "explosive"! I love the Lizard's eyes and tail ! The file cabinet tipped over everywhere with scattered/flying papers and the broken window are dynamic ! I see test tubes flying everywhere and wonder if the background colors denote volatile chemicals!? Great piece !

whereas the other 2 I try to pick up little hints because I'd love to have a style similar to theirs.
Okay Greg ! Maybe you can share a piece with us sometime ! Maybe you already have in the "What's in your sketchbook?" thread. If so, give us a page # !
Addendum:
Greg, I enjoyed viewing your work in and around pg. 338 and following. Snowbird, Marrina, the Master, and your amalgam's Martian Man-Skrull and Iron Storm were all very well done! Thanks for sharing !

Dan, yeah it's a hobby of mine. I have stuff in the Sketchbook thread that starts on page 338, then is kind of scattered throughout. Haven't posted anything in a while, though.
Re: the Rude piece, it's the cover of the 3rd issue of a Spider-Man series called LIFELINE with art by Rude and Bob Wiacek. Fun read that I recommend.

I jumped on at pg. 338 and my eyes popped out of my head ! WOW! I am going to have to view the "sketch" thread from now on. Some really awesome artwork by you and the others. With 700 pages to look through, it will be fun! Here are some selections from your book I enjoyed:
Enchantress, the woman with the sword (who might be a Joan of Arc type character, but I didn't recognize her), Tom & Jerry, Lorelei (after Simonson) and the dude on pg. 347 with the sunglasses. Cool! Who is he?
My favorite of yours so far is your very first entry, the Lion. Gorgeous! Thanks for sharing your talents.

Paulo & Greg -
You guys have some great gifts and talents! I sincerely admire your work! You gentlemen inspire me !
Note: I would like to pick up a pencil someday to draw. But we all make time for what is most important for us!

Thanks, Dan. The guy with the sunglasses is just a character design I did for somebody a while back. It was for a gaming/fan fic sort of thing.

Mike Mignola has a very dynamic, simplistic style Not simplistic as far as
"anyone can do it" but just doing what he needs to for a grand effect.

Comparison of Rob Liefeld and Mike Mignola. The simplicity and
composition of Mignola's work stands out.

Artistically speaking I feel that Kirby, Simonson and Mignola are cut from
the same clothe. Dynamic, simple and graphic.
