I wonder what discussions were had between the collaboration of Kirby and
Toth on the show Thundarr The Barbarian.

I read that Toth designed the primary characters and Kirby designed the
villains.

Some of us mentioned John Buscema as one of the greats for realism, especially anatomy. One of "Big John's" disciples is Claudio Castellini !  Check out Silver Surfer Dangerous Artifacts (one shot).  It is gorgeous !

Great post! I remember the Dreadstar and Comapny that was available at
the newstands.    I did not have access to a direct sales store.

I liked the realism with the fantasy of human/feline mix.

Good stuff!

Eric -

Glad you like the pics !

Dreadstar is awesome !  Do you have some or all of the series?  Here's some links if you need to fill in your collection:

Dreadstar (Marvel) #1-26 http://www.mycomicshop.com/search?TID=220971

Dreadstar (First) #27-64 http://www.mycomicshop.com/search?TID=127411

I really enjoyed this series up to issue #30.  Shortly after that, Jim left.  I lost interest after that !

Thnaks, Dan. I only have 1-6 of the Dreadstar and Company series. The
mixture of science and fantasy was great. I will definitely check the links.

Many thanks!
