Love the GA Flash.  Red Robin looks kind of cool.

I like the Flash's pose too, but it's unfortunate that all of the speedsters to
date have to have folded arms.

Looks like I have officially reached the point where I have to start
considering a different display!

And, yes, Aquaman is the first to arrive broken.

And right there, Thomas, you dip into a stew pot that has vexed a certain strata of fans almost since the original publication of "The Flash of Two Worlds". What constitutes a "Golden Age" character?

Obviously, Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman and, yes, even Aquaman have been published continuously since the Golden Age, so where is the line drawn? With characters like the Flash and Green Lantern it's easy enough to define the difference, but what about someone like Captain Marvel, who was returned to comics via a mechanism that said this was the same guy (along with his supporting cast) as had been around in the Golden Age. And what does that say about Black Adam? And how about the Spectre? He came back as an Earth 2 character, but is the figure in this series to be considered Golden Age?

And wasn't CRISIS supposed to fix this??

Just had a "Duh!" moment!

My spell checker of course recognizes "Superman", since that's a real word, but it does not recognize "Batman" and "Aquaman". But it does recognize "Wonder Woman".

And then I had my "Duh" moment. . . "

I've always wanted to consider Aquaman a Golden Ager. I just can't convince
myself of it, because he never interacted with any of the other heroes of the
40s.

And yet, for some reason I'm always comfortable lumping Captain Marvel
and Plastic Man in with the JSAers.

When I think about Golden Age heroes in terms of DC heroes specifically, I
usually use the phrase to distinguish between, say, Jay Garrick and Barry
Allen.

Generally speaking, the Golden Age--for me--ends around the time All-
Star Comics ceased publication and Fawcett stopped publishing the Marvel
Family.
