off topic. sometimes I wonder where these delivery companies get their prices from.
I recently needed to send a package to China. 16KG in weight and DHL quoted me £575 - I declined the offer as I could get a return flight for me AND the package for £460. So I could have had a weekend in Hong Kong, delivered the parcel personally, have £115 spending money AND broken even. eeek
If you buy from UK then fair postage rates work out at roughly US$2.30 per 100g.
magazine/standard figurine/packaging works out at an average of 350g. This should give you an idea of what ebay users should be expecting from you.
Alternatively, if baggage allowance is 30kg, fly over and pick up 80 or so figures , save yourselves US$640 in postage. so if you can get a return flight for less than $640 you are in profit, plus get a weekend in Blighty :-)
