Okay, a lot has been said about what's not to like about Wolverine (or some of the unlikeable things that have been done to him).  Just in an attempt to get this conversation steered the other way, I'd like to post one of the things I like about Wolverine --

Don't feel too bad because I don't think that you do.
Apocalypse returned it, but I don't think that Cycber was involved.  However, there was a storyline, several years previous, in which Genesis(Cable's son and a self proclaimed heir to Apocalypse) tried to use Cyber to give Logan the Adamantium back.

BTW, Sabretooth wound up getting the Adamantium
during this period.  IIRC, it was Claremont who did it.
I believe it was his first X Men related story after returning to Marvel. He wrote one story arc in WOLVERINE.
