Of course! How could I have forgotten that one. Looks like he gets his
boots from Scott Summer's cobbler...

I like the original as well. That's a nice drawing of it!

Captain Tootsie... there is so much wrong there....
I keep seeing Dustin Hoffman in a green wig and a muscle suit?

You gotta hand it to Len, his wardrobe isn't the only
example of his fearlessness. NOT an outfit I'd wear in
public, but it is a great looking Super-hero uniform!
Even with his strength I wouldn't go toe-to-toe with the Ramaging Hulk.
Byrne's issues had the best Samson-Hulk battles!
Samson's a dude.

I liked it when Doc knocked out the Hulk with a single punch!
How I miss a "beatable" Hulk...

What makes it, by the by, is the nice grasp of technique JB uses here. The short, compact right hook/uppercut/sucker punch is faithfully and technically perfect. I've tested it, and it's the "hardest" standard blow you could throw, particularly when you have a free shot! Must have been a dream come true for Doc to have that open a punch!

I never liked that costume, but I always liked Thundra's, which isn't that much different. i also liked Luke Cage's outfit, which isn't that much different, either.

You know what's awesome about that Captain Tootsie cover? The Venusian has leg hair.
