Just having fun. I would say most of my Marvel favorites, the creative teams that defined characters for me all pretty much fall around 1976-1982. I forgot howmuch I like the team of Busema and Chan on Conan. Loved that combo on art.

The impact of a creator is huge for me as when Mr. Simonson was guiding Thor I was for the first time enamored with the character.

Looking at the cover of FF#236 made me realize that JB was closer to the start of the Fantastic Four at that time than he is now to that issue he created. At the time the issue came out I remember thinking that 20 years ago was so long! Funny how time perception works.

I would have to say that JB is my favorite Fantastic Four. I don't have much experience with Lee/Kirby, but would give the edge to the originals if you held a gun to my head.

Edited to add- JB, did they make you leave Kirby out on purpose? Thought I read that somewhere. I could be wrong.
